Online workshop “Governance mechanisms of urban agriculture initiatives”, 22 February, 2024

On February 22, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET the European Forum for Urban Agriculture is organising an online workshop to validate our preliminary findings on how UA governance mechanisms facilitate or hinder the success of urban agriculture initiatives.

Our task has been to study the link between the different types of UA and the benefits they provide for the urban communities and environment, and trace what governance specifics of each type contribute to success in different areas of sustainability, innovativeness and general improvement of urban quality of life. This workshop is organised in our attempt to gather as much feedback on our work as possible and make sure no experiences of the multi-stakeholder UA network are missed.

The workshop is open to all UA practitioners, civil activists, researchers, policy makers and local authorities representatives with experience in UA whose opinion on our results on success factors and barriers and suggestions for policy recommendations will be much appreciated.
